Summo Notes runs summonotes.com.au and sells digital study materials. This policy explains what we collect and what we do with it. Questions go to hello@summonotes.com.au.
What we collect
- Your email address, if you join the waitlist or sign up for updates. This is handled through our email provider, Resend. You are added only to the list you signed up for.
- What you send through our forms. If you use the contact form, that is your name, email and message. If you apply to write for us, that is your name, email, the subject you did well in, how you went, the formats you would like to write and any note you add. These come to us as email and are not added to any mailing list.
- Order details, if you buy from us. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the seller of record. We do not see or store your card details.
- Basic usage data through analytics and standard server logs, such as pages visited, device type and approximate location.
How we use it
To send you the updates you asked for, and to let you change or stop them at any time. To deliver and support the products you buy. To improve the site and our materials. We do not sell your personal information.
Who we share it with
We use a small set of trusted providers to run the site: Resend for email, both the updates you sign up for and the email that carries form submissions, Lemon Squeezy for payments, Google Analytics for usage data, and Vercel for hosting. Each handles your data only to provide their service. Some of them store data outside Australia.
Cookies and analytics
We use cookies and similar tools for analytics. You can block cookies in your browser, and you can opt out of Google Analytics.
Our marketing emails come through Resend. Every one has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, and that link is also where you choose which lists you are on or switch our email off completely. If you switch it off, it stays off even for a list you join later, until you turn it back on from that same link. If you have no email from us to hand, write to hello@summonotes.com.au and we will make the change for you. This is about marketing email only. A reply to a message or application you sent us is not marketing, so it has no unsubscribe link.
Your choices
You can ask us to access or correct the personal information we hold, or to remove you from our list. Email hello@summonotes.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles, and you can raise a concern with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner if you are not satisfied.

We may update this policy. The latest version always lives on this page.
